Seeking Piercing Apprenticeship!

Hello, my name is Marley Cote and I’m very hopeful to land a piercing apprenticeship.

I’m 18, a high school graduate, and I am attending Orange Coast College. I plan on taking classes there in human anatomy, microbiology, medical terminology, ethics, phlebotomy, patient relations and more. I also plan on taking (and becoming certified in) first aid, CPR, blood-borne pathogens, and studying sterilization methods and cross contamination.

I’m really hoping to go to the APP conference this year to help further my current knowledge on the industry.I have also read the Piercing Bible and carry it around with me (everywhere), like it’s an actual bible to me. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get an apprenticeship. I am willing to take whatever classes, courses, and seminars needed, and I’m more than happy to just help around a shop.

Counter Work/ Apprenticeship Needed!

Hello! My name is Adrienne and I’m looking desperately for some counter work/ apprenticing at any local studio in the North Jersey area. I have already been a piercing apprentice for 9 months, but sadly due to personal reasons, I had to leave. Im looking to learn learn learn and work! I would love to be able to live in the body modification community and also work in it!

Full Time Piercer

A high volume studio is looking for a full time piercer. A few of the requirements are minimum 5 years studio experience, you must be familiar with using a Statim, and you must be well versed in basic and advanced piercings. My name is Jordan. I’m 25 years old and was born and raised in the Seattle/Sound area.

I have always been interested in body modification. I’ve undergone quite a few modifications, myself, and have been interested in pursuing a career in body piercing/modification.

I am certified by the state of Washington to be a piercer. I have my Blood Borne Pathogen and First-Aid/CPR training certificates. I am now in-search of an apprenticeship.

We are searching for a charming, motivated, and well-groomed body piercer to join our high-end piercing shop in the heart of San Francisco. We are a mostly free-hand shop offering all-natural aftercare. You must have excellent customer service and be friendly and patient with all clientele. We require that you posses at least six years of piercing experience and are an active APP member (or intend on becoming one in the near future). Your Blood Borne Pathogen, CPR, and First Aid certificates must be current. It will be required that you obtain your Body Piercing Practitioners license from the City of San Francisco upon hiring (http://www.sfdph.org/dph/EH/BodyArt/default.asp).
