Piercing Apprenticeship Wanted
Hi there, my name is Tasha and I currently work as an assistant in a professional office environment in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Since I was 14 years old, I’ve been beyond fascinated with body modification, and over the years it has grown into a real passion. I spend a great deal of my free time researching and reading about body piercing (as well as other modifications), and participating in online discussion communities. I have a number of piercings myself, but definitely nowhere near all that I desire because I’m limited by my current profession.
Unhappy with my current circumstances, I’ve decided that it is time to break away from the path that I followed out of necessity so that I may pursue my dream career as a professional body piercer, no matter how hard I have to work in order to make it happen. This industry means so much to me, and has played such a major role in my life — email me to ask how! — that I know it is where I belong. I do work 9-5 from Monday – Friday (I know that is a major inconvenience to any professionals who would consider taking me under their wing, but I do have a mortgage and bills to pay, so please be understanding.), but am happy to dedicate my spare time — for free, of course — to apprenticing.
I’m interested, dedicated, and ready to work hard. And I’m absolutely willing to take all the necessary health classes/courses (CPR/First Aid, etc.) that my mentor requires that I complete. Moreover, I’m a real asset because when there isn’t anything directly apprenticeship related to do in the shop (observing, cleaning, practicing, etc.), I can double as reception thanks to my extensive customer service background and friendly personality! Also willing to do some level of commuting if necessary.
