Planet Hollywood is our host hotel, and the APP reserves a block of rooms for attendees of the Conference. When making your reservation, request rates for The Association of Professional Piercers. By booking in the APP room block you are supporting our event. The APP is able to expand its budgets for Conference instructors, perks, and events when the room block is filled. Staying in the host hotel fosters a bigger sense of community at the event and keeps you close to your “home base” for the week!

APP attendees will be making reservations directly with Planet Hollywood Hotel. Attendees may call Planet Hollywood on or before the cut-off date. Individuals must identify themselves as part of the Association of Professional Piercers to receive the special Group rate. All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first night's guestroom and tax charge. If reservation is guaranteed to a credit card, the first night's guestroom and tax charge, per guestroom, will be billed immediately to the cardholder's account.
Attendees will have to pay a mandatory daily resort fee (at a reduced rate) and tax.
Group rate is guaranteed until June 6, 2020.
Planet Hollywood Hotel allows individual cancellations without penalty up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the attendee’s scheduled arrival date. Hotel shall charge the individual attendee one (1) night’s guaranteed guestroom rate plus tax for cancellation within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled arrival date or failure of the individual to check-in on the scheduled arrival date. Any remaining nights of a “no-show” reservation will be cancelled.
It is policy to require a credit card or debit card deposit for incidental charges. Current policy at PH is $50 a night, credit / debit card only. Policy subject to change. Holds on this deposit amount can last 5-10 days post stay and vary bank to bank.
Hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diners Club.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Any departures after 11:00 AM are subject to the full day charge.
Each guestroom must have at least one registered guest twenty-one (21) years of age or older.

TWO WAYS TO PAY/REGISTER:
FULL CONFERENCE PASS
Full Conference means that you receive an Attendee Badge which allows you into any of the classes (Members Only & Piercer restrictions apply) and into the Expo Hall for all four days. If you are going to be at Conference for more than a day or two – this is the most economical choice. The pass will increase by $100.00 if you register onsite, please plan accordingly and register early!
All Attendees including Full Conference Pass holders will need to register for classes in advance. All classes will have seat limits.
Full Conference attendees will have access to waitlisted status which allows them entry into a full course at the door, should pre-registered attendees not show up.
The APP offers the option to pay on a per class basis. See the Conference website for individual class prices (available December/January). Be careful when selecting classes this way so that you don’t sign up for classes which are scheduled at the same time. If you are registering as partial conference and want to attend the Expo, you will need to purchase a separate pass for it. For those attendees ONLY going to the Expo, you are considered partial conference. Individual Class Prices will increase by $10.00 (or more) per class for onsite registration. This means if you wait and register in Las Vegas it will cost you a little more money - this is to help offset the onsite registration expenses incurred by the Association. Please register early!
Partial Conference attendees will have access to classes taught in all formats. Partial Conference attendees will not have access to waitlist status onsite. If a Partial Conference attendee is on a waitlist, at the time registration rates increase they will be removed.
For entry into the Exposition- proof of industry affiliation is required. Our Exposition is a trade show floor - and is not open to the general public. The APP reserves the right to restrict access to the Expo for Attendees who fail to provide us with the proper proof of industry affiliation.
For entry into Piercing Technique courses (advanced courses) - proof that you are a professional piercer is required.
Vendors and Vendor Workers who wish to purchase on the Expo Floor or participate in the Silent Auction MUST register as Attendees.
I am a Health Inspector, can I attend the Conference? How much does it cost me?
The APP continues to invites Health Inspectors to attend the Conference free of charge. The only requirement for this offer is that the person(s) attending reserves and stays in a room in the host hotel within the APP room block. Registration can be done on-line - at the Conference website. Registration can also be done at the Conference -- but we encourage you to beat the lines, save some money, and register in advance. The pass will increase by $100.00 if you register onsite, please plan accordingly and register early!

Individual Class Prices will be posted once the courses are final, they typically range from $45.00 to $75.00 per class depending on the course (You do not pay these fees if purchasing the full conference pass).
Prior to June 17th, 2020 the APP will refund 50% of Attendee Registration fees if the Attendee cancels. June 17th or later the attendee will receive no refund. Please plan accordingly. If your cancellation is due to emergent and unforeseen circumstances - we will consider alternative arrangements on a case-by-case basis. The APP strongly suggests that you consider purchasing travel insurance if booking a flight far in advance. For just a small amount, you can be assured of a refund or credit if a cancellation has to be made. Airlines vary, but see what is available for your flight - just in case!
